Sembreaks and Sales

And so sembreak starts! I have a month to just enjoy this well-deserved break which I am excited about! Well I still have hanging subjects left for the semester which occupy a bit space in this exhausted brain of mine but I don’t mind, at least I don’t have to worry about deadlines for a couple of weeks. Aside from me resting, the wallet and pockets can breathe easily now because of the wipe out this semester brought, 9 majors with labs, that is what it can do, squeezed the life out me and my parents wallet. Thank God for sales right? The good thing about having a working sister is the treats I get every payday. We went to the mall the other day and that’s when I found out about another 3-day sale of SM. I needed that and so does my sister, despite her treat, she’s a little bit stingy when it comes to shelling out especially that I requested for a pair of shoe. Man, I have “wawa” shoes. Looks so worn out, D said I look so kawawa every time I wear it. At least I get to buy the shoes that I want with the help of my sister and this *hallelujah* 3-day sale. ;)
Even though I am excited to buy the shoe (afraid someone might first), I have to wait for the 3-Day Sale, 3-Way Save which starts Oct. 18, 19 & 20.  As SM does every time they have sales, it’s 50% off on great selections.

Here are some things you need to know so you can enjoy your Christmas as early as now!

1.) 2-Hour Special on Friday, Oct. 18 starting as early as 9am additional 10% on top of the existing discount exclusive for SM Advantage...
2.) + 5% Rebate for a minimum P5,000 single-receipt purchase using your BDO credit...
3.) Get P100 Coupon with every P2,000 single-receipt purchase on Saturday and Sunday (Oct 19 & 20)
The pair of shoes that I wanted was less than a 2k, not splurge-ey for this kind of price yet but to those with P2000 worth of purchase, you get a chance to win Internet TV.

Awesome as ever! Enjoy your shopping and have a fabulous sembreak.

me and traffic

I don't mind being stuck in traffic. Yes in a way it is annoying especially if you are running late for school or work. I still don't mind though. See I like to imagine, makes time run by faster. Yes I can imagine or daydream during dull moments of the day but for me, the best is still when I am stuck in traffic..

My dream aside from making the parents proud is to own a car. I specifically wanted to own a mini cooper hatchback-convertible.  Living in a city where it pours anytime, owning a car is a must for me. I have blogged this dream of mine for how many times now. I might have mentioned already that I hate the scenes in every jeepney trip, the stares from strangers, eyeing you from head to toe. The snobs who shows their irritation when you ask them to pass your fare to the driver, from those times when you have to endure the smell of beer from drunk men (and women who giggles in a very irritating kind of way). The drivers who have to wait 10 minutes for passengers w/o a care in the world with the already-passengers who also have their own businesses to attend to..

Having to see the people driving their own car during traffic is somewhat relaxing for me.  I would always imagine myself driving my own car, listening to my playlist and singing along with it. You can't sing-a- long to your favorite music inside the jeep, well for some can but not for me.

They say that car is not a good investment, that if you plan to own one, better to pay it in full. The maintenance is also costly and them other hard stuff that everyone says is hard. I say, it's okay. That’s part of owning something, there are responsibilities attached to it.

For me, owning a car will make life easier don't you think so too?

neglect, procrastinate, rock

Neglect
  • My blog. My first post for the month of July.
  • Social life. Declined all invitations from anyone even from my sisters.
  • Responsibilities. Work, chores... at times, being a mom and a common-law-wife.
Procrastinate
  • All that has to do with the uni whether that's homework, requirement or projects. Well, not really. Most doesn't just work or fit with the availability I have which makes me go back to being neglectful. Since I neglect most of my responsibilties and that makes my alibi less acceptable, I will now shut up and try to get things done today.
I am trying you guys! If not, overtime, I'ma turn into a rock.

almost new started this month

New month, new subjects, new friends, new stint !!!
Is my luck turning around for this year's middle month?
I sure hope so.:)

First 5 months of 2013, t'was okay.
Main highlight was when I saw my grade in Basic Stat.
Quite low and no, it's not "pasang-awa", but the "P" beside it made me grin.
I basically passed all my subjects and that's all that matters.

Plans for this month:

1. Enroll all major subjects that's offered for this sem, I am aiming for that 2 semesters and 1 summer class countdown before graduation.

2. For the first 2 weeks, I have 500 files to finish, (new stint related). Will blog about it as soon as I get my first pay check. This is when I will know if the stint is indeed legit.

3. Planning to finish an audiobook, a fiction and non-fiction book. 3 books all in all.

I just want to end this month right.
Seems easy, the writing and planning part that is. The doing part, I need a lot of motivation.

Well, enjoy June okay? :) <3 p="">

something about movies and war

I love watching soldier/army movies. Aside from science fiction, war movies is my second on the list of movie genres. Tears of the Sun is currently playing on the background, D said "yan nanaman pinapanood mo?" (you're watching that movie again?) because I just watched the movie the other day, I actually have a copy of it in the hard drive. Right now, it's playing on cable, I have the option to watch this or my other favorite movie which is spider man3 but opted the first one even if I watch it every other day, ...not really, I can watch it again though if there is nothing else worth watching on cable.

Aside from it being a  soldier/war movie, Bruce Willis, my childhood crush is one of the main character and the war against black and white is one plot that gets me. I can't say that it's about racism because the plot mainly shows the greediness of power, ready to kill anyone who gets in their way. The soldiers, Bruce Willis' team was just caught up with the war since they saw how brutal the ethnic cleansing was.
them team !
Most soldier movies doesn't intend to make viewers cry, I noticed. Unlike for certain movie genres, this movie makes you anticipate for the ending, especially the part where they tell you about what happened to the soldiers who survived the war, afterall, most war movies are based on real life events.

Aside from this movie, Black Hawn Down and Saving Private Ryan just to name a few are my favorite.

I am so obsessed with soldier movies, it got me thinking that maybe, I was a soldier in my past life, if not, I then pray to become a soldier in my next life. ;)

currently reading and willing to share

Since summer class has already ended almost a week ago, the books I have downloaded 2 months ago, I can now read. June 10 will be the start of first semester so that would give me 3 weeks to read up to my hearts content. So this, I started reading 3 weeks ago but can't seem to finish it.

I was thinking, since this is written by J.K. Rowling... what? You don't know who she is?? Harry Potter, oo,  siya pala yun. I am now in chapter 2 (olden days), verified that this an adult novel. No more magic guys! For the first few chapters, I find it hard to stick to this or even manage to stay awake so when insomnia hits and you want to read, this is a good recommendation. I have the option to read another book which I will be sharing soon.

So anyway, no more class also means doing house cleaning and errands that was neglected when I was busy-busy-han sa school. Everytime I want to read, the other book is what I would read instead of this, makes me sleepy and not planning to sleep the afternoon away. So what I did is to download an audiobook instead.

I can listen to it anytime I want while doing household chores like the laundry, while washing the dishes, cooking and most of the time, when I have my me-time over at the terrace and just enjoying the windy afternoon while listening to a good story.

Also, my eyes can't take prolonged reading anymore so audiobook is a great alternative. Although I still prefer the traditional way of reading, with real paper pages, audiobook is great if you're really wanting to finish a book w/o the hassle of having tired eyes and thinking about stuff that needs to be done. Not easy especially for a mom like me.

If you are a bookworm and a fan of J.K. Rowling, I can send you a copy of this book for free, it's in ePub and mobile format. PDF? Send me an email, I can work something out. If you prefer the audiobook, same thing, just send me an email.

Have a fantabulous Friday y'all !!! 😊

Friday Frustrations: wrong kind of chill

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
I should be jumping for joy now because I have only one exam for finals today but for some reason, today feels like a Monday. Feeling so bummed out to the point where I almost feel like slapping someone. I think, the events that happened yesterday has something to do with this.

Let's jump to the summary and  help me assess it please. Around 2pm, had 4 bottles of beer with some of my debate mates, t'was supposedly a chill-kind-of-afternoon but for some reason, it bored me to death which made me drink beer instead and smoked my lungs out with half-pack which took me only 3 hours to finish and that seldom happens. That was how bored I was, to think that I even made it for 3 friggin hours. See, I am that kind of person who would start a group chat but with the kind of group I was with, dang, t'was super awkward. I was sitted beside Renz, question and answer was okay during the first hour but when another friend of his came, ako na ang left out.

It seems to me like their kind of chill is different from mine so instead of concentrating more on how bummed out I am, let me give you an idea on what chilling is for me.

  •  it's either over coffee or beer, it is not a drinking spree okay? it should be more talking like getting to know more (not the date-kind of getting to know), less smoking and texting is a must
  • chillin with a group means everyone should talk to each other. Hello? If you prefer talking to just one person, go get your own table or if you don't feel like sharing or talking, ba't ka pa sumama?
  • silence while chilling is okay but totally UNACCEPTABLE when it reaches like 10 minutes, ganun ka-awkward!!
  • I prefer not to invite someone whom the group doesn't know not unless that person is easy to get along with.
  •  when chilling, I prefer an open space and with a not-so-loud music. yung saktong lakas lang kase hindi naman gimik e, chill nga.
  • lastly, choose a table where everyone can hear what you are saying, the table they chose was so I wide, I can sleep which in our case, I almost did. >.<
So, after my last exam today, the same group is planning to chill again. Would I be willing to go despite what happened yesterday. Btw, I was the second one who went home, Renz felt a little pissed because in the first place, we were the one who invited the others for that supposed fun-chill-afternoon.

That was like the most awkward chill I ever went to. If just in case I still don't feel like going later, I still would like to chill, this is time, it's with my sisters.

k, bye.

a post that will make your mouth water

Eversince I can't remember, I can't seem to eat anything without suka (vinegar). I love sour foods especially the ones where you can dip with suka and toyo or bagoong. Green mangoes, singkamas, ripe sampaloc, the not so ripe papayas, I can eat without having it pickled. The only thing I can't eat alone with suka is the santol fruit that is why I always prefer having it pickled. It is a good side dish and it can last for 2-3 weeks just make sure that the jar you used is clean.

My mom makes the best pickled santol. I did watch her make one before, she said that it's all about the measurment of the sugar and salt.I tried pickling several times before but can't seem to perfect it like my mom's.

A couple of weeks ago, I made the almost perfect one.

Since I am the only in this house who loves sour fruits, I didn't worry about sharing coz I'm imot like that ;). Found it almost perfect coz nothing beats the one that my mom makes. So anyway, here is how I did it.

We need salt, sugar, water and vinegar, I used sukang iloco and of course the santol fruit, peeled and sliced.

To make the brine for 4 pieces of santol fruit (medium sized), I used 2 and a half cup of water + 2 cups of vinegar. Put it on low- heat fire, at the same time, add like 2 table spoons of salt. Mix it for a couple of minutes, say 2 for the acidity of the vinegar to evaporate and then add 5 table spoons of sugar. I prefer using brown sugar for pickling just because. After the sugar dissolves, put the santol fruits inside a clean jar first then add brine. Added it while it's still hot because I can't wait for it to be pickled real fast. Unlike for some, they still have to wait for a few days, mine, I had it for just after 2 hours, the heat made  it easier for it to be pickled. Those 4 pieces, had it for like a week as a side dish.

For people who can't seem to eat w/o sour food, pickling is one way for you to always have ready made sour side dish. 😊 - told you, indeed mouth- watering.

i apologize

Topic: a public apology
I, Jill Galario, do apologize for always feeling sorry for myself and seem to always doubt my capabilities. I always feel sad and sorry when in the real world, I can choose to just be happy.

I've always hated school, in fact, I even tweeted that it sucks the life out of me. A schoolmate asked me why and I said, "I hate being obligated to do it but I have to graduate." I actually lied. The people at school drains the energy and happy vibe out of me, to that dear schoolmate of mine, sorry I lied and this is my public apology.

To the books I have been skipping to finish, I am so sorry I get too lazy even if I promised myself to try and finish one chapter before I go to bed.

To blogspot, sorry for the ditch, I just thought tumblr will be suitable for me but after trying it for a couple of days, my loyalty still went back to you. Did this twice, before was with wordpress, sorry...

For all the people I have hurt, intended or unintentionally, this is my public apology. You may not be able to read it now, maybe someday, sorry okay?

back to blogger and a happy mom's day

Hello again blogger!

This time, I am sticking around. Such a hassle to export and make the template feel like me which I already did when I moved to tumblr and then just this morning, I deleted it and here I am again back to square 3. At least  now I know, after moving from blogger to wordpress and then tumblr, I then realized that blogger even though tumblr still has the easiest dashboard navigation among the three, blogger weighs in more because of the widgets and plug-ins. I find wordpress hard to explore, not that user friendly, again, this is just me or maybe, I'm just lazy to explore, either way, pro blogger pa din ako.

So today's mother's day. Happy mom's day to all mothers out there, to ate Ane and Stella, my fellow Cordillera bloggers and awesome moms, today's our day! :)

As for my mom, despite our different point of views and tubig-mantika relationship, I love you 'ma. Honestly, I only get to tell mom I love her during special occasions like this one. The not so-vocal-personality, I did get that from her. Since I am the second child, me and ma doesn't have that closeness compared to my 2 sisters. Yes, the second child leeway, I use that loosely. Since I don't leave with my parents anymore, the only time I get to talk to my mom is when the family needs to attend a relative occassion. No calls except for forwarded messages which has a message behind it saying "I am okay ma, hope okay lang din kayo." I know, me and ma is not that close, this is not the thing of what I wanted to share but how I can make my mama proud.

The only thing that is important for mama is for all of us to graduate and find a stable job. Me and my sister is still working on it, my sister still has a year as for me, 3 more semesters. I know that even if we don't have regular communication, as long as mama knows I am okay and she's okay (health wise), we're good.

To mama Saring, thanks for being a second mom. I love you and thanks for everything.

To all nanays and nanays to be, let your heart be full of motherly love. 😃

it's Okay Thursdays #01

                   Its Ok Thursdays

  Happy Thursday!
While browsing through memes, this came up on my google search and thanks to Amber, I have something I can blog about today. Here it goes:

  •  ...to link up even if this meme is about to end. I can't believe this is the first time for me to see this, and it has been running for 2 years! :(
  •  ...to not know how to use the calculator to check the hypothesis-testing (statistics things).
  •  ...to not be chosen as one of the teams for the championship debate, I hate researching anyway.
  • ...to wake up tomorrow sore and that's because of not doing warm ups before trying all the equipments in the gym.
  • ...to be humiliated infront of the class today because I just can't understand anything that has to do with math. Actually, it's not okay to be humiliated but no one can't argue with a professor.
  • ...to move my blog from blogger to tumblr.

happy birthday mo na anak! :)

This gift is so ready to be opened by the birthday girl who turns 5 today. Last year, I blogged about me giving birth and how my 4 years was with my little girl. Last month, I made another post about how she grows up so fast and her, graduating from day care.

Indeed, time flies by so fast! Another post for the one  who makes and helps me be a better person.

Wala akong worry kase behave talaga although may sumpong at times, bata e.

I am so blessed ang grateful and happy.
Salamat po sa limang taon. Salamat sa batang ito, natututo akong muling maging bata kasi sinasali niya ako lagi sa laro nila kasama si panda at baby bear. Mahal ka namin ni daddy anak alam mo yan. Happy Birthday! :)

    Ayun, ang kyut o. ;)

Feeling Foodie: Japanese Yum @ SumoSam

    Ain't that much into food.
If you've seen me in person, you'll know what I mean.
With invites like this, the tiny foodie in me sparks and brings out the thirst for something new.

When it comes to letting my tongue experience foreign tastes (food that is *winks*), it comes as something like taking basic stats exam. Lemme just go to that SumoSam experience before your mind drifts into something not about food. :)

First of, let me share a brief history about SumoSam. It's a Japanese casual dining restaurant.  It opened its first store in 2005. Within the next 8 years, its has expanded nationwide  and is now here in Baguio. Did you know that the then famous actor, Marvin Agustin owns the restaurant together with his other business partners. I remember the Jolens-Marvin days, and now, he is a well known chef and I still see him on tv commercials, not so much into the acting scene (SumoSam has been keeping him busy).

Up to date, they now have 30 chains. With the fast paced growing competition among food chains, each one has to know the needs of every consumer. Unlike the places I am accustomed to eating to, it would take a few months for me to go back because of the same food they offer on the menu. With SumoSam, they offer something new every 6 months, well isn't that awesome. They offer fresh fruits every after meal and also came up with refreshing ice pops. :)

With them allowing us to experience SumoSam, let me share a few pics during the grand opening which happened yesterday, April 05, 2013.

     The Venue:

    The Food:

     1. California Maki and Dynamite Roll - both are a must try. Dynamite roll is good for cold season because of it's spiciness which is just right if I may say while the california maki is best for summer or anytime of the year I guess. The combination of the sweet mangoe and saltiness of the seaweed, del-eee-cious!

    2. Gyoza - a.k.a Japanese potstickers/pan-fried dumplings. They used gyoza wrappers here with pork, cabbage and onions. Best if dipped with soy sauce with vinegar and chili oil.

    3. Seafood Yakisoba - just the way my mama likes it, with lots and lots of seafood!

    4. Chicken Teriyaki - something not that new to me. D cooks teriyaki but SumoSam's version is better of course. This one's best with plain rice.

    5. Japanese Fried Rice - being a plain rice fan, having my tongue try rice with other ingredients is something of an adventure. You don't need viand, sulit na sulit pag eto na in-order mo. I think they used short grain rice because of the texture.

    6. Ebi Tempura - a huge one. This and the seafood yakisoba is a fave among them all because I love seafoods. Again, best if dipped with soy sauce and chili. :)

With that, I can say that my experience at SumoSam is worth sharing to family and friends. Considering that this is my first time eating at a Japanese restaurant, the ambiance, location and the food is just so perfect for family days and for people who wants their taste buds to have a sumptuous adventure. The next time we visit and dine @ SumoSam, I would want to try their Mt. Fuji Steak and Squid Head Karaage especially that after them letting us taste some of their famous food on the menu, we also got these, a brief history of SumoSam, a CD containing some pictures of their best sellers and 3 gc's!!!

Now before I end this post, just because I want to make your mouth water, here are a few pics you can drool on. Sarap lang 'di ba? :D

Go ahead and give it a try, SumoSam is located at Technohub Camp John Hay.
The food looks fancy and expensive I know, you will be surprised though, being a Japanese restaurant, the price is okay and its worth every penny.

PS: Picture-picture with my fellow Cordillera bloggers and also bloggers from Manila.:)

    congrats bebe gurl!

    -A  quick post.-
This little girl is graduating from day care today. :)

And then she, turns 5 next month. A few more years and she graduates from elementary then secondary, and then, college. I am a proud mother yes. See, the growing-up-SO-fast is what affects me in a sad way. My bebe gurl is going to be a lady soon, and fast. :')

All I can do now is to savor the moment. 5 years might have come so fast, well, everyday is worth all the happiness and kulit-ness in the world. I love you so much bebe gurl. :)

    Mar 14, 2013

    - it has been a year since I activated my fb account. It has been keeping me up til 2 am because of candy crush saga and stalking a bit because it seems like I've missed a lot from few close friends. I've missed using the mood weather report app, I should've have activated most of the icons already if not for the 1 year hiatus.

    - only got 2 winning numbers from the lottery, taya ulit bukas. :P

    - for 3 straight days, I've been waking up at 11a.m. Will be setting the alarm tonight coz waking up at a close-to-lunch-time is not that refreshing, makes one grumpy although I am grateful for that 10 hours sleep God. ;P

    -  this tattoo is kyot, I want one.

    isang realistikong saloobin

"Genius without education is like a silver in the mine." - Benjamin Franklin

    - this i got from a movie I've watched earlier (Price Check is the title jic you're interested to know).

So I can't have the job that I want because my resume is not impressive. Just seeing the "undergraduate" beside my major, I am sure that the person who sees my resume won't have second thoughts of putting mine on the "least priority"cabinet so, I totally agree with Mr. Franklin.

I was dreaming of working at my very own office (or cubicle), paper works and meeting deadlines and not just assisting someone over the phone. Working at a BPO industry is not something I plan to do for the rest of my life not unless I work behind a desk, you know, doing paper works. Right now, my top priority is to graduate. With all the subjects I still need to finish, that would take 3 semesters. If I graduate, I would also want to work abroad. See, by the time I graduate, my age would not be included anymore on the age limit that most communication companies need. I took up broadcasting btw, working at a tv or radio company was something that I wanted to do but with the high expectations from major or even minor tv companies, my chances are low, way low. When I say expectations, not just refering to the grades but the over all package. Fail appearance ko sa tv, pag sa radio stations naman, tunog maarte at bata ang boses ko kaya "asa". May utak naman ako e, nalihis lang ng landas dahil sa katigasan ng ulo.Anyway, even working abroad, they still require someone who is a graduate whether you apply at a company or kasambahay. The demands are high at this point so might as well do something about getting that diploma.

So yes, mama knows best. Should've have known then what I know now.

    - The reason why I still haven't got my diploma yet is just as cliche as the kampanya serye this year and the previous years. Nabarkada or pasaway lang, diba, of no importance na i-kwento ko pa.

go with the flow kind of gal

I don't consider myself as high maintenance. first of all, I was born with a mom and a dad who taught me how be a "cowboy" wherever whenever. "koboy" in a sense that we should never show kaartehan in life. With whatever we have, even if we don't like it, it's either we take it or leave it. That is how living a simple life should be, wag kang mag inarte (lalo na sa harap ng relatives). Kung anong meron, matuto kang makuntento. Both my parents are not rich kaya naturuan kaming bumagay sa sitwasyon. May mga bagay pa rin naman kaming ayaw, lahat naman ganun.

Took the test from blog.blogthings.com and the result is a I'm a "medium maintenance" meaning kahit "koboy", may class pa din *char*. :)

    Eto sabe:

Like everyone else, you have some things you are particular about.
You're not too annoying about it, and you're able to go with the flow most of the time.
You've learned to stand your ground on what matters but also make compromises from time to time.
You have good taste. Too bad not everyone shares it.

    Trulaloo yan. Yun na!
    K bye. :D

proud to belt out nicki's songs

This one is for the boys with the booming systems.
Top down AC with the cooling systems.
When he come up in the club, he be blazin' up.
Got stacks on deck, like he saving up.

i know you are familiar with this song. :)
if you find nicki minaj as kuurnnny, madonna-wanna-be, you are so piman. you can just move on to your blog hop and just skip this post yeah?

so yes, I am a huge minaj fan. i find it relaxing when i sing some of her fast-paced-tongue-twister-ish songs.I googled most of her song lyrics because it's just so hard to follow w/o any kodigo. before, I love belting out adele's songs, chasing pavement was a fave but now, nicki's Roman Reloaded album and The Re-up Single disc is my most played album for a couple of months now (I wish, her next album comes out soon!).

not all of her songs are rap and has unusual interludes. if you listen to her Roman Reloaded album, she has a couple of slow songs like Marilyn Monroe and Young Forever which are a few of my favorite. Right now, I am trying to memorize the lyrics of her song Gun Shots featuring Beenie Man. aside from the catchy tune, the lyrics as usual is fun to follow to.

Try singing with this song, it's fun swear.
Someday, I'ma make a video of me singing nicki's song. Now ain't that gonna be exciting? :P

    alin sa dalawa kaya??

    Credits
a month ago, when D told me that it's time for us to own a tablet (saying it like having another child), I spent most of my nights checking the specifications, like every night, totally memorized it already.

I am that excited yah know. See, I am a tablet virgin, never owned one. When I was still working, I planned on buying myself a cheap one mainly for ebooks. Kindle fire was I thought something that I could afford during that time, second hand that is but it never happened, bought a tv instead for our room. :) Since D decided to buy a tablet intead of another laptop, I got so excited. Plus, it is a great gift for my daughter for her birthday. Her cousin owns one and she borrows it for a couple of days and when it is time to return it, god, the look on my daughter's eyes. I can't wait to see her ecstatic face when she sees it.

Today, we went to check out the prices. My plan was to stick to the ipad 4, the ipad mini was not that appealing to me until I got a hold of it today. It's a bit bigger than my sister's galaxy S and mas mukang gwapo ;). So when I got home, I once again checked the specs. Kala ko mejo parehas lang ng ipad4 kasi parehas ni-release, it turns out, smaller version lang pala ng ipad2 ang mini. When it comes to portability, ipad mini is better. The thing is, I prefer the one na may 4G para connected kahit walang wi-fi. Our budget fits for the iPad mini which is a lot cheaper with 16gb, wi-fi ang 4g while for ipad 4, we can only have the 16gb and wi-fi. I was also aiming for the 32 gb storage that we can only afford if we buy the smaller one but w/o 4g.

In the end, I still have to choose between the two and I haven't decided yet. I would like the more updated one, meaning I would sacrifice other features like the 4g that I wanted so much ( which makes it hard) *sigh*. It's gonna be my lakay's money and that is his only say, when it comes to specs, he prefers I decide for him.

So which one will it be? am not sure yet, either naman sa dalawa ang piliin ko, masaya pa din, mejo nga lang pag walang 4g hehe. Senxa na ha, ganito lang talaga ang nararamdaman ng isang dukhang katulad ko ang perstym makabili ng pang mayamang gadyet. :D

    silver linings playbook: review

this movie is fresh. worth your movie time.

the only movie that D were able to finish knowing that he takes sleeping pills. yep, hindi siya pinaantok ng movie na to surprisingly. :)

j.law deserved that best actress trophy at the oscars after all. you can just watch the trailer here or read it here because I am not good in giving synopsis, I may end up telling you the whole story.

Pat's dad has ocd in this movie and it makes me smile everytime he does things to keep the bad ju-ju away because that is what I also do, well not the remote but you know tapping things a number of times, or letting something face a certain direction just because, (ocd type).

anyway, i would rate this 10/10 because it's just so effin worth the watch. I have it saved on my hard drive, if you want a copy, pm me. :)

obviously the next american idol for season 12

angie miller, the next big thing. :)

basing from the reactions of the judges, they got carried away and take note, she wrote this song. am not gonna be surprised if it made it to the billboard or be played on klite over and over again. I therefore predict that she is going to be the next american idol. will be rooting for adriana latonio too but then again, angie impressed me more.

Si Lolong, longest croc on earth died yesterday. affected nanaman kase longest croc is was found in the Philippines. #RIPLolong - tamang i-autopsy kasi parang biglaan. ang sabe dahil daw hindi maganda yung environment  and such, hindi siya ganung-ganun na maging predator at mag-hunt kase sinusubuan na lang. na depress kase nga naman, nasa guiness ka as the king of kings ng crocs sa sobrang laki tas in real life for spectators lang at naka kulong. hula ko depression yan.

yung sa Grammy Awards, congrats sa Fun. for best new artist. yung lang honestly naalala ko.

    salamat sa pagbisita! :) goodnight!

    #CNY 2013

    Happy CNY! :)

dragon dance here, snake dance there, tikoy everywhere. later, there would be fireworks, we're lucky if we get a glimpse of it tonight. Baguio people are celabrating it too. haven't had time to watch tv patrol northern luzon so i have no idea on what the list of activities are in store for us taga Baguio. There's definitely a dragon dance and kakanins for sale everywhere.

for this year, we opted to just stay at home. me and my daughter Julian got sick, colds and flu and by tomorrow, hopefully, we'll be a hundred percent "flu-less". A few coughs here, good thing may ascof lagundi. hopefully for next year, we get to see the dragon dance because I've never seen one except on tv.

for now, I'm okay being cozy at home in my pj's with lakay and daughter.

new year for some, not so for me

    kung hei fat choi btw!!!

well t'was quite a long time for zero post from me. considering that fact that I am a full time mom, blogging about parenthood is really not something I'm good at. besides the lack of topic to blog about, my laptop's lcd just got replaced 2 weeks ago.

while thinking about something good to blog about, i am currently switching tabs, google-ing about how to add pinterest on my page and making my blog search-able to google.

    time check: 2:33 am.

i have 2 topics i want to blog about, i just don't know where to start.
i'll just make this as a test post coz i think my new simple template looks kyot.

    okay bye. :)
